Back in the game

After a four year hiatus, I'm back in the blogging game. I love looking back on old posts and pictures of my kids. Commence with the pictures!

May 2014- Kate's 1st grade and Kaden's 3rd grade Promotion at East Valley Academy

May 2014- Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Hathcock's house. Heidi, Devin, and Corey moved back from Idaho and the kids are having SO much fun playing together.  

Family fun at Riverview Park in Mesa. We spend lots if time there. 

Favorite part of the park- the 50 foot high rope tower. My fearless kids climb straight to the top. 

June 2014- Kate learns how to play basket ball with the Harlem Globetrotters. One of them was 7'4" tall! 

June 2014- Kaden and mom took a Hunter Education class together. We were having fun on the break. Kaden loved the field day with the target shooting and simulated hunt. 

It's been a great year so far!

Kaden's first day of Kindergarten!!!

Today, my sweet little Kaden-boy started Kindergarten. I can't believe he's old enough to be in school now! Time goes by way to fast.

First, a picture of my good looking kiddo's! This was before we left for school this morning. THe kids were so excited! Kate's preschool doesn't start for another few weeks, and she was so disappointed that she didn't get to stay at school with Kaden.


The kids wanted to show off their new backpacks. Kaden's is a superhero one and Kate's, of course, is Tinkerbell, her very favorite movie.

When I picked him up today, he said that his first day of school was "Awesome!". I'm so glad he had a good day. I love you so much, Kaden!

10 year high school reunion

So, I'm getting old. I had my 10 year high school reunion on the 4th of July weekend. On Friday night, I had a mini get together with my BFF's from high school. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm so glad we got together.

On Saturday morning, our class had a float in the 4th of July parade. Katie and I were brave enough to ride on it, and I'm so glad I did! I didn't really want to but I did so I could throw candy at my kids. It was so much fun! My kids loved seeing me in the parade. Brent took some pictures of me in the parade, and the kids watching the parade. I'm 4th from the right in the hot pink shirt.




Saturday night was the reunion. We had a yummy catered dinner, and watched a picture slide show. We also had to get up with our spouse and tell what we've done since high school. I don't have any pictures of that part, but it was so much fun! I HATED high school because I was painfully shy and people thought I was stuck up because of it. I was expecting it to be all wierd and clickish and awkward like high school was, but it was great! Everyone was so nice and talkative and friendly. I really debated if I wanted to go to this reunion, and I'm so glad I did. I had a super great time!

Bronson's High School Graduation

My baby brother graduated from high school in May. He was only 8 years old when I graduated and left home, and he was 10 when Brent and I got married. He's a great guy, and I'm proud of him! Love you Bronson!!!

Just so you all know, I have the best family in the whole wide world! I had lots of fun with them. We trashed Bronson's truck, and he was NOT happy about it. I don't have a picture of the back of it, and I wouldn't post it even if I did. There were some not-so-nice pictures on it! haha

Kaden's Preschool Graduation

Kaden went to Little Scholar's Preschool with Mrs. Connolly. She was a wonderful teacher. She helped Kaden so much! Here are some pics from May 2010 preschool graduation.
